Who We Are<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since 2005, Apex Publications <\/a>has been producing work that is dark, beautiful, and out of this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along the way, Apex has had the opportunity to publish some of the most exciting and interesting writers in speculative fiction: Brian Keene, Maurice Broaddus, Kristi DeMeester, Michael Wehunt, Damien Angelica Walters, E. Catherine Tobler, Nick Mamatas, Jennifer Pelland, Lavie Tidhar, Chesya Burke, Chris Bucholz, and many, many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our books and magazine have been the recipient of some of the top awards in science fiction, fantasy, and horror: the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, the Stoker Award, the World Fantasy Award, among others. In 2014, the third anthology in our international SF series, The Apex Book of World SF: Volume 3<\/em>, was selected as one of NPR’s top 40 books of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does our Patron Hunt work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We provide six tiers. Two of the tiers provides you a book subscription, two of the tiers provides you with a magazine subscription, and two of the tiers do both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Apex releases a new book, you will be charged on the book’s release date and we’ll mail it to you. For those fans who love all our books, this is an easy, low-maintenance way to never miss a title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apex Magazine<\/a> <\/em>relaunched in January, 2021. When you become a patron at one of our zine reward tiers, you will receive download links to the current issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, signing up for an annual subscription gives you a 5% discount on your tier cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
